Our flexible two-phase intensive driving course lets you pass your theory with our in-house tutors, book your practical test, then plan your 20 hours of 1-to-1 driving tuition around your test date.

The Split Course is ideal for learners who would prefer to complete their intensive driving course closer to their practical test date, rather than taking all of their training before securing a test.

Can I spread my intensive course over a longer period?

Yes. Our Flexible Two-Phase Course and 10-Day Course are designed for learners who would prefer more time and flexibility.

What happens if I don't pass my theory test first time?

If you don’t pass your theory test, you can return to our theory training free of charge. Any additional DVSA theory test fees would need to be paid by you, but we’ll continue supporting you until you’re ready to move on to the next stage of the course.

Will I have my practical driving test at the end of the 5Day course?

No, the course does not include an automatic test at the end. A practical test is only arranged once a DVSA-approved 5Day instructor confirms you are ready. You are free to book a test in your own vehicle if you wish.

If you do wish to book your test sooner, before taking your 5Day course, you can at your own risk, we’d recommend scheduling the 5Day course 3-4 weeks before your practical test as a minimum in this instance. We will then advise on test suitability.

After your intensive week we will suggest whether you can proceed to test using our vehicle or not.

Due to ongoing DVSA delays, test availability can sometimes take months.

Will I be test-ready at the end of the 5Day course, and can I really learn to drive in 5 days?

It depends on the individual. Everyone learns at a different pace, and some may need extra practice or lessons after the course to reach test standard. On average, first-time passers are people who have continued practising after the course while they wait for their test date.

If I can’t get a test at the end of the week, why should I choose an intensive driving course?

An intensive driving course is a great way to gain experience and confidence quickly, speeding up your ability to control a car and gain road knowledge. This amount of experience would normally take months using private weekly lessons.
