Chelmsford ranks 22nd worst city for congestion in the UK

New data has revealed that Chelmsford ranks in the top 25 cities for congestion in the UK.

The figures, complied by data company Inrix, show that Chelmsford places 22nd in the country for its poor congestion.

A driver will spend an average of 23 hours per year stuck in congestion on the city’s roads.

The cost of congestion for a driver averages £722 per year, with it costing the city around £50 million per year.
