Carleen Ball was caught almost double the legal drink-drive limit behind the wheel of her £75k Porsche

A mum who was caught drink-driving behind the wheel of her Porsche sobbed in court as she said a ban will stop her from taking her children to see their terminally-ill dad.

Carleen Ball, 32, was spotted by police driving at ‘excess speed’ on Barton Road in Worsley on December 27 last year.

Officers pulled over the £75,0000 Porsche Panamera into a car park

She was banned from driving for 16 months.

She was also handed a £150 fine and has to pay £117 in court costs.
